Nov 20, 2012. An addition to the Solar Entertainment channels was launched — JackCITY. Hosted by Black & White‘s Justin Quirino at Mango Tree (Bonifacio High Street Central), the ladies were happy to hear that finally, there’s a Jack channel that caters to the female market! JackCITY is the DRAMA channel with STYLE. It’s the “sidequel” to the popular cable channel JackTV and is a contemporary new addition to the current lineup of free-to-air channels.

While JackTV features programs from comedies to reality shows to animated sitcoms and dramas, JackCITY airs a selection of powerhouse drama shows for the go-getters and critical thinkers. Hmmmmmm, interesting right?

What intrigues me are the highly anticipated shows “Elementary” and “Vegas.”

The-Elementary

A contemporary twist is given to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s renowned fictional detective in “Elementary.” This show stars Jonny Lee miller as detective Sherlock Holmes and Lucy Liu as Dr. Joan Watson. Watch the duo as they solve NYPD’s most challenging cases every Monday at 9pm on JackCITY.

Vegas

“Vegas” is a drama series based on the real-life story of former Las Vegas Sheriff Ralph Lamb (Dennis Quaid), a fourth generation rancher who was tasked to bring order to Las Vegas in the 1960s. Vincent (Savino (Michael Chikilis) a ruthless Chicago gangster plans on taking over Las Vegas. Find out who will win: the man on a mission to dominate and own Vegas, or the man who tries to keep the peace and save the town he loves. Vegas airs Thursdays at 9pm.

White-Collar

Another series that I, personally, got excited about was seeing the synopsis and discovering who the lead actor of “White Collar.” Gay or not, I’m still in love with Matt Bomer!

Synopsis:

WHITE COLLAR revolves around the unlikely partnership of a con artist and an FBI agent who have been playing cat and mouse for years. Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer), a charming criminal mastermind, is caught by his nemesis, G-Man extraordinaire Peter Burke (DeKay). When Neal escapes from a maximum-security prison to find his long-lost love, Peter nabs him once again. Rather than returning to jail for his daring getaway, Neasl suggests an alternate plan: he’ll provide his expertise to assist the Feds in catching other notorious and elusive criminals. Initially wary, Peter quickly finds that Neal provides insight and institution that cannot be found on the right side of the law. Source: Ace Showbiz
