Posted in Adventures by Farah Ramos on December 29, 2009

The start of a beautiful friendship. [Jian. Dos. Mark. Thina. Farah] The group’s goal: GO AROUND THE WORLD.

So yeah, we went to Cebu.

First stop: AYALA MALL. Second stop TAOIST TEMPLE.

Holding a real gun. Yikes.

Yep. NO PARKING.

LIL Adventure with Mark.

Something embarrassing happened to me here. This was during our first night in Cebu. We went to PENTHOUSE [THE GANG + Dwight + Patrick + Honey + Kathleen].

2nd Day: CROWN REGENCY HOTEL

Dos and I dared ourselves to try the EDGE COASTER ride and the SKY WALK EXTREME. That was awesome.

Go Go Power Rangers! LOL!

“I am emotionally attached.”

3rd Day: TOURIST MODE. LOL!
JEEPNEY: Our ride.

BASILICA del SANTO NIÑO

At the street right outside STO.NIÑO Church.

MAGELLAN’S CROSS.

Trivia: Close to 500 years ago, Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan planted a huge Christian cross in Sugbu (now Cebu) to celebrate the baptism into the Roman Catholic religion of island chief Rajah Humabon, his wife, and some 500 of their followers on April 21, 1521.

Old ladies with candles in hand approached and offered to say prayers for us. When you buy candles from them, they dance while praying. After that, they return it to you, already blessed with their prayer and you can light it at the desgnated area right outside the church.
